Joe Bob Merritt explores the rich intersection of material arts, somatic practices, mindfulness, and creativity. He believes embodied work offers countless opportunities to develop sensory clarity, strengthen concentration, and cultivate equanimity. Somatic Practices open the door to direct experiences of freedom from habitual reactions and contact with the inherent Humor of LIFE. Integration of these experiences increases the likelihood of intelligent, responsive, and creative expression in everyday life. To advance these aims and honor a living esoteric tradition in which he has trained for 30 years, Merritt teaches PsyTek META, a practical psyche-technical system, delivered in common and direct terms.
