CANCELLLED: Qigong Basics: Heidi Magnus

Qigong is an ancient art that integrates movement, stillness, and natural deep breaths. The slow and flowing movements of qigong relax and release tension which allows the body to perform better. Practicing qigong expands our range of motion, strengthens muscles, improves circulation, and relaxes the nervous system. Qigong sharpens our mental focus. Qigong creates space for health, balance, and calm in a way that maximizes our body’s function and innate healing processes. Qigong is an easy practice that can be done standing, sitting, or lying down. People of all ages can practice and enjoy this gentle ancient art. Together we will learn the fundamentals as well as some classic Qigong sets like The Eight Brocades.
