CBSOM Community Connection Event: Vision Training Workshop
Date & Time: Thurs, March 5, 6:30-8p
Location: Sanctuary Somatics
Facilitators: Joe Bob & Amanda
Amanda Sage is a visionary visual artist whose immersive paintings and global community art projects explore transformation, interconnectedness, and the creative potential of collective imagination. She is the founder of the Vision Train, an international participatory art movement linking visions for a more beautiful future.
Joe Bob Merritt is a teacher, philosopher, and systems thinker who explores the deeper dimensions of human potential, creativity, and consciousness. Through symbolic storytelling and metaphysical frameworks — including the four dimensions and the parable of the seed — he invites audiences to see how intention becomes reality.
Event Description: Vision Training is an immersive creative ritual where art becomes prayer, intention becomes image, and collective vision becomes movement.
Guided by a short meditation, music, and intuitive drawing practices, participants create their own “Train Car” — a visual expression of hopes, gifts, and dreams for themselves, their communities, humanity, and Earth.
The experience includes a special talk by Joe Bob exploring the four dimensions of creation and the parable of the seed — how a single intention, when nurtured, grows into a living future.
Through drawing, writing, and group sharing, each participant contributes to an ever-expanding Train of Vision — a global art movement initiated by Amanda Sage in 2017 that has gathered thousands of visions from around the world, building a collective map toward a more beautiful and peaceful future.
No art experience necessary — just curiosity, heart, and imagination.
